There is nothing more perfect than a kiss

Kiss (n) - The act of pressing one’s lips against the lips or other body parts of another being or object as a sign of love, sexual desire, reverence, or greeting.
For however long, all you feel is the significant others' lips on yours. Nothing exists. You don't exist. They don't exist. Everything behind you doesn't exist. What is oxygen? You have no past, and no innate future--you are locked in the spell of a kiss. There's a whole part of our brains sensory cortex that is dedicated to our lips--where there are more sensory neurons, we feel more. It's why we don't kiss with our toes or fingers or elbows. Thus, the lips have an image as the most sensual, yet innocent part of the body. And even though there are so many sensory neurons that are dedicated to the lips, we still feel the need to close our eyes. By closing our eyes, we are eliminating our minds from any distractions outside of the kiss. Like I said, everything that once existed no longer exists. There is no evolutionary benefit that results from a kiss. In a way, it's one of the most selfish things you can do, but I, myself, am no altruist. A kiss is bliss.

And there is something so mesmerizing about black and white photography.
To break the pattern, let me add a work of art by one of my favorite artists-- Gustav Klimt, "The Kiss"
